Bio
Kansas City has always been my stomping grounds since birth, and I love being a part of this
huge, local, artisan, fashion movement this city is adopting and revolutionizing. These days, in
between working a full-time job running a food pantry for kiddos in foster care, parenting my
children, and hanging with friends and family, you can find me at my sewing machines and
hammering at the leather work bench. What started as a tinkering little hobby has increasingly
grown into an all-consuming passion, awesome distraction, and flourishing love for the leather
community. I started this business on my own in 2015, and it’s grown from there with a love of
leather products, leather gear, and the leather life. I make bags, wallets, jewelry, and all kinds
of fun leather apparel, gear, and accessories-ranging from harnesses to crop tops. As a non-
binary, trans, queer, small business, Red Hare Leather competes and thrives in the local KC
maker and leather communities and reaches far beyond.
