Support your local arts and queer communities!
Come experience Kansas City Queerness to reign in Pride 2026! ArtsKC has invited us into their space and we are ecstatic to celebrate queerness of every color through vibrant Kansas City art. We will be bringing you local queer artists, vendors, and performers. Join us for one or more of our events, including an open mic night with a raffle for free portraits by Rick Sams, a drag performance hosted by Delilah Sugarwood, a queer gayme night, and more. We hope you will join us in raising funds to support The Queer Narratives Festival (QNF) coordinated by NoDivideKC!
About Kansas City Queerness
KC Queerness hopes to send people home with the message that every voice matters. Queer people have a history of being marginalized, and we are unfortunately still seeing that take place in our communities today. We hope that through this gallery we can make even a small difference by raising funds to donate in support of local queer arts communities. All funds beyond paying for the gallery itself will go directly to helping fund The Queer Narratives Festival (QNF) coordinated by NoDivideKC. This means that all funds raised at this event will go directly back to supporting queer artists right here in Kansas City, so be a part of this movement and show support for your local queer arts community by donating today. No amount is too small to make a difference!
It's Giving: Kansas City Queerness will contain some nude adult content in varying artistic forms, though nudity is not a primary focus of the gallery and is not the majority of the gallery. Because of this, anyone under the age of 18 will need a guardian with them.
We also want to thank ArtsKC for welcoming us into their space through the Community Gallery Program! If you are not already familiar with their organization, you should know they have been wonderful to work alongside!
